I offer fixed rates as well as hourly rates. For live tracked recordings I usually charge a fixed rate that depends on the number of tracks recorded and responsibilities, for instance if I am also to run the PA. Live recordings can be tracked using up to 16 tracks. A typical 8 track recording of 1-2 hours of recorded music will run about $200.00 mixed by myself to match the live performance as best as possible. Edits / overdubs and remixes will be charged at an hourly rate. We are located in Hillsboro Oregon, for distances over 35 Miles traveled a rate of 35 Cents a mile will be charged.
Studio time is charged at 25$ an hour. This is negotiable for smaller projects. Discounts are available for block scheduling.
Payment is due at the time services are rendered. For live recordings at a fixed rate, 20% deposit is required at least a day in advance.
